About Spaceship Local
Spaceship Local is a new initiative to provide reporting and information to local communities to support respectful, fact-based conversations about divisive issues.
When citizens don’t know journalists, when local news doesn’t serve them directly (if at all!), and when there is no place for them to go to talk civilly and respectfully about the issues that matter deeply to our lives, trust in journalism declines and our communities suffer.
Spaceship Local journalists put listening at the heart of their practice in order to support of the civic life of local communities.
